I live in Kelowna, BC, an abundantly inspiring place. My house is modest with a big yard with lots of plants, and I live with my husband and our little dog, Rory. We like to keep things simple and enjoy life as much as possible. For us that usually means hiking the hills or drinking a cup of coffee while reading a good book.
I seek enjoyment and simplicity in my life, and that flows into the artwork I create. There is immense joy in the simple act of putting paint on a canvas. There is an endless possibility within each brush stroke. I am drawn to vibrant colour and revel in still life. Painting is the perfect way to practice mindfulness and connect deeper with yourself. When you pay attention to details, you appreciate how precious everyday experiences are.
